Bio Remodelling Injections is all about stimulating the skin to remodel to optimise overall quality. This treatment promotes healthy, glowing and radiant skin. It significantly improves the four pillars of anti-aging:

How Does It Work?
As we age, we start to lose our collagen, elastin and fat in the face. Our bodies break it down faster than we can produce it. These are what gives skin its structure and firmness. Without them, skin becomes thin, sagging and aged.
Bio Remodelling Injectables contain a combination of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid stabilised by NAHYCO™ Technology. This diffuses into the 3 layers of skin (epidermis, dermis and hypodermis) to stimulate collagen remodelling, elastin production, fat preservation (the good fat), and hydration. It is deep multi-level tissue remodelling.
The result is significant anti-aging benefits with improved elasticity, firmness, hydration. It counteracts skin laxity to give a lifting action. It improves overall skin quality but does not volumize the skin.
What Is The Treatment?
The treatment utilises the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Point) Technique, where 5 injection sites are used per side of the face (a total of 10 injections). Each treatment includes 2mL of Bio-Remodelling product.
It is a non-surgical injectable treatment. The appointment is approximately 40 mins. There may be some lumps evident immediately after treatment and may last up to 2 days. There is no downtime, and you can resume most normal activities immediately afterwards.
What Is The Treatment Course?
For most people a course of treatment involves 2 sessions, 1 month apart. Some patients may require a 3rd or 4th session at monthly intervals. This depends on the quality of skin and skin type. If you are having treatment for the first time at our clinic, the minimum course of treatment is 2 sessions at 1 month interval.
After the initial course of treatment, we recommend maintenance at 6 to 12 month intervals – this is dependent on skin type.
What Does The Treatment Feel Like?
The procedure is generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. Local Anaesthetics is generally not required so you will not feel numb afterwards. Topical anaesthetic numbing cream is available if you choose (though most people go without).
What Areas Can Be Treated?
The product is currently TGA approved for use in the face only.
What Is The Aftercare And Recovery?
There is no downtime. Immediately after treatment you should avoid applying make-up, and refrain from sports, swimming, or strenuous physical activities for that day. Please avoid extreme temperature such as saunas and steam rooms. Alcohol should also be avoided on the day to maximise results.
What Results Can I Expect with Bio-Remodelling Injectables?
The treatment provides an overall skin rejuvenation with natural looking results as it stimulates your body’s natural production of collagen & elastin. The results are not immediate as it relies on your skin’s cellular activity. The treatment does not ‘fill’ your face like dermal fillers, so it is ideal for patients looking for a refreshing and natural result.
Typically, a noticeable difference in skin hydration, elasticity, facial volume and wrinkle reduction is noticed after the course of treatment is complete. This is 2-4 treatment sessions, at 1 month intervals.
Skin tightening, brightening, reduced redness and improved texture and pigmentation have been reported with treatment. Some patients report a glowing appearance in the hours and days following their treatment.
Many patients report that their skin not only looks great afterwards, but also feels younger to touch. The bio remodelling continues up to 6 months after each treatment.
Who Is Suitable For Bio Remodelling Injectables?
Bio Remodelling injectables are best suited for men and women who are looking for anti-ageing skin treatments. This includes individuals who want to improve skin quality, concerned with fine lines & wrinkles, hydration, laxity and skin firmness. It is especially effective for menopausal or pre-menopausal women – who may lose up to 30% of their skin collagen in 5 years.

The treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is This The Same As Dermal Fillers?
Bio Remodelling injectables is not the same as dermal fillers. Whilst both are composed of hyaluronic acid, the type of hyaluronic acid is very different. Dermal fillers have cross-linked HA which volumizes and hydrates. They may last from 6 months to 2 years. Bio Remodelling injectables stimulate cellular activity in the skin. The product itself has a half-life of 30 days and creates a bio remodelling effect for up to 6 months. The results can last much longer. Bio Remodelling injectables do not volumize the skin, but improves skin quality.
What Are The Risks Of Treatment?
As with all medical procedures, there are always risks associated. Your injector will discuss all risks and contraindications prior to performing any treatment.
With Bio Remodelling Injections, there are minimal side effects. These may include, but are not limited to: swelling, asymmetry, bruising, redness, lumpiness, pain and discomfort at the site of injection.
Rare complications include: allergic reactions, granuloma formation, delayed onset nodules, infection, vascular occlusion and blindness.

What maintenance is required?
Everyone’s level of maintenance is individual and different. This largely depends on lifestyle, skin type, age and genetics. However, as a general indication we recommend re-treatment once every 6-12 months. This may be a single session, or a course as required.
We also recommend use of PROFHILO Haenkenium cream between treatments. This is a multi-action antioxidant cream for maintaining cellular vitality. It contains dual molecular weight hyaluronic acid and dry extract of Salvia Haenkei Haenkenium – a powerful antioxidant. It is recommended for daily use in morning and night, applying to face, hands and decolletage. PROFHILO Haenkenium comes in 50mL, and is available in clinic.
